ACE Home is a curated luxury electronics store based in Toronto. We carry fewer than 200 products — every one chosen for design excellence, build quality, and genuine taste. If it doesn’t belong in a beautifully designed home, it doesn’t belong here.
THE PROBLEM
Shopping for home electronics is broken.
You’ve been there. You want a great speaker, or a smart lighting setup that actually looks good, or a turntable that sounds as beautiful as it looks on your shelf. So you open Amazon and immediately drown. Fifty thousand results. Sponsored listings everywhere. Fake reviews. A $400 speaker sitting next to a $19 knockoff with the same star rating. You close the tab feeling worse than when you opened it.
So maybe you try Best Buy. You walk in and it’s a warehouse. Fluorescent lights. A teenager who knows less about the product than you do. Everything displayed on metal shelving like it’s in a stockroom. You buy something — not because you’re confident it’s the right choice, but because you’re tired of looking.
Or you find some “smart home” store online, and it’s all the same generic white gadgets photographed on grey backgrounds with copy that reads like it was written by a spec sheet. No taste. No point of view. No reason to trust that they’ve thought about any of this harder than you have.
And so you settle. You put something mediocre in your beautiful home because the process of finding something better was too exhausting. A home you spent months designing, furnished with care — and the technology in it was chosen by default.
That’s the problem we started ACE Home to solve.

We review dozens of products in every category. Fewer than one in five makes the cut. That’s not a marketing line — it’s how we actually operate. Every product on ACE Home passes through the same four criteria before it reaches our shelves.

Would this look at home in a beautifully designed space? We think about the object itself — its materials, its proportions, its finish. A speaker isn’t just an audio device. It sits in someone’s living room every single day. It had better be worth looking at.

Build quality and reliability
Premium materials. Proven engineering. Brands with real heritage and real after-sales support. We won’t carry a product we’d be embarrassed to stand behind. Minimal return risk means we’ve done our job choosing well, and you can buy with confidence.

Taste
This one’s harder to define, but you know it when you see it. Does this product reflect the kind of life our customer aspires to? Is there a point of view behind it? The best products in our collection aren’t just well-made — they say something about the person who owns them.

Is using this product genuinely delightful? Not just functional — delightful. The app works. The setup is painless. The sound fills the room and makes you close your eyes. Technology should disappear into the experience of living well. If a product makes your life more complicated, it failed.

Curation over selection
We carry fewer products than most stores have in a single aisle. That’s the point. You don’t need 47 options — you need the right three. Our job is to do the research, test the products, and narrow the field so you can choose with confidence instead of confusion.
Honest opinions
Every product page on ACE Home includes a section called “Why we picked this.” We share what we love about a product, and we share what to consider before buying. If a speaker sounds incredible but the app is mediocre, we’ll tell you. Trust is earned by telling the whole truth, not just the flattering parts.
Design matters
If it’s ugly, it’s not here. Full stop. Technology should make your home more beautiful, not less. We believe the products you live with every day deserve the same design consideration as your furniture, your lighting, and your art. That’s not superficial — it’s how thoughtful people build a home.
Canadian pride
ACE Home is founded in Toronto, and we’re proud of that. We’re even prouder that so many of our favourite brands are Canadian too. NAD, PSB, and Bluesound are built by Lenbrook International in Pickering, Ontario. Nanoleaf and ecobee are headquartered right here in Toronto. Fluance makes turntables and speakers in Niagara Falls.
